PVPers swap characters very regularly to make up proper team comps, they basically nurfed that with this so say so long to the pre-mades and say hello to the same thing over and over and over and ….

Making schematics for character-bound set bonus armor mods drop from ops bosses would have been a good move.

If you only want to gear up to tier 2 crafting could be viable if you are lucky and get the right schematics. In addition, the amount of crafting materials dropped has been increased. I did the weekly and received 20 GXP for it. Might be a bug that was fixed today, but yesterday Thursday , we had two world bosses spawn on Dromund Kaas. Same name, different locations. There was a rumor of this happening early that day.

This RNG reward system is an absolute outrage. I understand that casual players want access to the best gear but I always thought a reward system was based on effort and skill and therefore challenging yourself to do more difficult content and reaping the rewards.

In fact it makes this reward system even worse. PvP has for a long time been reasonably fair, and by that I mean team cohesion and player skill generally equals wins. Now PvP losses can be be blamed on gear rather than player skill or that of team mates. No, no, no, no. Now I could play for for 10 hours day for months and not get the stuff I require, This is a bullshit system simply designed to milk as many subscriptions from the gullible casual players as possible.

I dislike rng drops, seems mad to have them as the reward — esp if they are dropping a set bonus…what are the chances of getting all 7 peices! Also drops the new blue crafting supplies. How are you able to do veteran solo through the galactic command? Just go to the fleet and down to the Dromund Kaas departures and pick up the quest. Be sure to do the bonus boss. I just tried the Esseles in Veteran mode, which is hilariously easy… but takes quite a bit longer than 10min. Plus elite worth 1 each. This is about the equivalent of winning unranked warzones.

Even better if I can get the time down and if I use a command booster when using the cxp packs. I run it with my assassin so I just stealth plus force speed and rocket boost or run to the objectives then force cloak. PS you get an extra champion if you do the DS option. Also good to save the cxp tokens until you get a win state for even more cxp.

Your side does not have to be victorious to get tokens. It just has to be on your alignment side, and you rank up. Whether or not you get a token is based on having the winning side selected. The token you get is based on your alignment. I have k Dark still, but I have light selected as I am working my way back from maximum dark side. Light won and I just leveled up Command rank during victory hour and I got a dark token.

I was specifically talking about say, being light side alignment, fighting for the light side and getting light tokens without it being a victorious state, but your side is winning.

To get tokens it has to be in a victory state. That would be a nice way to earn dark tokens then, dark never holds the battle very long on harbinger.

Tested, if i understood correctly, that does not work. I got a Light Side token on my Warrior when Dark won, twice. It appears to glitch its own system: as I got the token for my char alignment, because i put in enough effort towards helping my side win. But my side and char alignment do not match, so it halfway breaks. I get token, but no cxp bonus. Found another one Keeper Anais on Coruscant, Justicar sector. Question: If I play both dps and heals with a toon, how do I get the different sets [with bonuses] for each spec?

You grind, get some boxes, respec and then open them while respeced. The items depend on your current spec when you open the boxes. The bonuses change depending on the spec you have.

The gear stats may change from spec to spec, but I doubt it. Is there a tactic guide for DvL boss es anywhere? You can also get schematics from crates you get from gaining Command Ranks.

I have gotten several Artifact schematics on various toons. The description for the victory state is not quite right. The DvL button only determines how activities change the alignment. When the light side has won, a dark side character will be treated as being on the losing side, even when he had light side selected for the whole day, as will a neutral char with a alignment.

Specifically Dark Side, since this is what I was trying. Level 70 Character. I got Command Tokens. How do you know how many Dark Side tokens you have? Is this system broke for now, like many vendors and Cartel Certificates? I can see both my token types the command tokens from 5. NPC will aggro boss if any player will be around boss and boss will go away. Add this commetary to 1 position at Hoth. Useless to check it.

Once you do hit level 70 and your sub ends and are moved to preferred status that would be nice to continue leveling up command ranks even at a reduced rate. Overseer Qezzed spawn in the corner near to the turbolift for the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. You swapped Y and Z coordintes; the correct coordinates for this location are X, Y, Z : , , If you swap specs from say tank to dps before you open the crate, will it change the set bonus or do up need to be in the stance before the crate is earned?

I looked at the locations people mentioned and I can confirm that there was a DvL Boss there.

I looked at the maps posted by spuntick above, and it includes some locations I was not aware of before. I believe you took these screenshots on what he marked as location 7, is that correct? I decided to get all known locations that is described in commens below, and put them into maps, i hope it will help you find those sneaky bosses easyer.

The only thing to do in this game is pvp. Nah, the only thing to do in this game is play GSF all day, erryday. Do they think removing expertise from gear will automatically balance pvp, or something?

Legacy… that once new feature BioWare no longer cares about. This actually deserves Darwin prize. BioWare is no longer located in Canada. The very best thing you can get from a command crate is a piece of set-bonus gear — when you are wearing multiple pieces of gear with a set-bonus, some of your abilities get a huge boost based on your combat proficiency.

Set bonus gear can not be crafted or earned any other way except through the galactic command system, operations, and pvp. There are a total of levels you can gain for your command rank, and they are divided into fourtiers — the first tier is level 1 to level 90, the second tier is level 91 through , the third tier is level through , and the last tier is capped at Each tier gives better gear than the last.

So before you open a command crate, make sure to check your combat proficiency or you might get the wrong type of gear. The default key to open your combat proficiency is K — you know, K for combat. The gear you get might not be an upgrade — it might have a set bonus, or it might not, and it can be a green, blue, or purple item. For example, if you got a cosmetic lightsaber while playing a trooper, you could disintegrate it instead of accepting it. Or if you liked the way it looked, you could claim it and send it over to your Jedi.

Different items are worth different amounts when you disintegrate them — modded gear is worth the most, then schematics, then cosmetic items, and gifts and command tokens are worth barely any disintegration cxp at all. You can expand the number of galactic command items slots with cartel coins. In the past, if you wanted a specific piece of endgame gear, you would run the operation that drops it, or buy it with commendations or crystal currency.

With the new Galactic Command system, you might get a set bonus piece in your first crate, or one might not show up until you open your 50th crate. You also might get duplicates, or never receive that last set bonus piece you need. Outside of the Galactic Command system, however, you can earn specific pieces. Operation bosses, the 8-man content in the game, drop a piece of unassembled gear you can turn in for a piece of your choice.

Each boss before the last boss drops one piece, and the last boss drops two. If you win an unassembled piece from a raid, you turn it in on the fleet. When you turn it in you will also need a type of currency called command tokens.
