Hiya mate I have installed microsoft visual basic express edition and registered it over the net. Do you know how to uninstall this program??? I really want to get rid of it but i cant! Distributable Code. The software contains code that you are permitted to distribute in programs you develop if you comply with the terms below. Right to Use and Distribute.

TXT Files. TXT files. You may copy and distribute the unmodified output of Microsoft Merge Modules. You may copy and distribute images and animations in the Image Library as described in the software documentation.

You may also modify that content. If you modify the content, it must be for use that is consistent with the permitted use of the unmodified content. You may permit distributors of your programs to copy and distribute the Distributable Code as part of those programs.

What is "distributable code" as used in the EULA? Does that include applications with all code statically linked? Or is that only referring to any Microsoft-produced runtime support libraries that may need to be distributed with certain applications such as MFC DLLs or ATL runtime support, or any other compiled Microsoft code that exists in other files like DLLs that is not compiled directly into an application?

If applications produced with free MS compilers are not licensed for commercial redistribution again, applications with all code statically linked, no redistribution of Microsoft runtime DLLs necessary , will purchasing VS Professional get me this license? Apologies if this is not the correct place to ask. I f I don't get an answer here, where is the best place to ask about licensing issues? I could not find "legal" contact information at Microsoft to answer these questions.

I also do not qualify for no-charge technical support with VS Express. Thanks, Jason Cipriani. Thursday, July 19, PM.
